1.                  This Contest  is organized by Rajasthan Patrika, the contest  is valid during promotional offer period only as announced in the Rajasthan Patrika newspaper from time to time. 

2.                  This Contest is valid only for existing category of active Subscribers who fulfill the following criteria: 

i)        You must be above 18 years of age.

ii)       You must be a citizen of India

iii)     You must not have any criminal record nor be of an unsound mind

TERMS & CONDITIONS#:.

1. Rajasthan patrika “Jo Khelega Wo Jeetega” contest is a limited period offer as announced in the promotional advertisements in the Rajasthan Patrika newspaper from time to time for Rajasthan readers.

2. The contest will be open from 2nd May-09 and will close on 31st May-09
    1 Bumper Prize winner and 10 Consolation prizes will be announced after completion of Contest.

    Bumper Prize will be:
    3 Night & 4 Day Holiday trip to Manali for 2 adult, Delhi-Manali-Delhi
3. The contest is open for residents of India only.

4. There is no entry fee for participation except prevailing premium rates, as may be specified by the respective telecom operators for dialing the service number.

5. Premium call rates shall apply to the caller on dialing 5696905 and 12696905  no other means of participation will be accepted for the contest.

6. Dialing 5696905 and 12696905 (pl. read terms) is the only route for participation. Responses sent by any other means will be summarily rejected.

7. Rajasthan Patrika. will not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for failure of any backend technology of IVR application and resultant inability of a reader to send in his entry or the loss of score arising there from and his/her inability to qualify for the prize draws because of such failure.

8. While Rajasthan Patrika. will make every effort to declare the results for prize draws within a week of the participation deadline for the respective prize draws, Rajasthan Patrika. will not be responsible for any delay in announcing winners of the respective prize draws arising out of reasons beyond its control in the normal course of business.

10. The winners will be eligible for the prizes only after they have received an intimation from Rajasthan Patrika. The  winners are required to come to Rajasthan Patrika. Visuals and names of the prizes depicted in our promos / communication are only indicative of the product category of prizes and in way is an indication of the brand, model or any other product attribute of the prizes. The visuals etc do not have any association to the number of prizes what so ever.

11. Employees of Rajasthan Patrika. and its affiliates/subsidiaries, sponsors of the prizes, associated agencies, participating operators and their immediate family members and relatives are not eligible to participate in this contest.

12. The name of  winner  will be informed by Rajasthan Patrika. The participant with maximum number of entries and list of winners may be displayed on www.sms56969.in and / or printed in Rajasthan Patrika or intimated to the participants/winners in any manner as Rajasthan patrika. deems fit.

13. Prizes must be collected from such place as instructed by Rajasthan patrika. within 30 days of declaration of results. Wherever possible, Rajasthan Patrika.may courier prizes to the winners with intimation to the winners and all prize dispatches will start only after 2 weeks of declaration of results of the draw. If the reader/winner does not claim the prize for any reason whatsoever within 30 days of declaration of results, he/she will automatically forfeit any claim to the prize.

14. The prize's) shall not be transferable and no such request shall be entertained by Rajasthan Patrika.

15. Rajasthan patrika. will not be responsible for any defects/inadequacy in the products given as prizes and the same would have to be addressed to the manufacturer directly. Rajasthan Patrika. would not be liable to replace/exchange the prizes at any stage of the offer.

16. This contest cannot be clubbed with any other offer and the participant will not be given cash under any circumstances whatsoever in lieu of a prize won.

17. Rajasthan Patrika. does not take any responsibility for any errors arising out of incorrect or incomplete contest entry.

18. The winner is solely responsible for any other expenses related to the acceptance and during the use of the offer Rajasthan Patrika.

19. Any levies, duties, TDS and taxes, wherever applicable, shall be borne by the person availing the offer.

20. If instructed by Rajasthan Patrika. prize must be claimed in person on production of a Government of India issued proof of identification or credit card/ College/ Institute/ School issued proof of identity only and the same cannot be claimed through any other mode.

21. In case false/fake identification details are submitted, the concerned person/addressee/winner shall be disqualified immediately from the contest.

22. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Scheme is a violation of Criminal and Civil Laws and should such an attempt be made, Rajasthan Patrika. reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent permitted by law.

23. Rajasthan Patrika. reserves the right to extend or to cancel, discontinue or terminate the said contest at any time or to accept or reject any or all entries at their absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.

24. Rajasthan Patrika. shall not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered by the winner / participant while participating in the contest or availing the offer including but not limited to personal injury and damage to property, whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise, whatsoever.

25. In the event of any winner choosing not to accept a prize(s) on or before the assigned date or forfeits any and/or all claims the prize(s), Rajasthan patrika shall have the absolute discretion to deal with such prize(s) as it deems fit.

26. Where a specified prize becomes unavailable, Rajasthan Patrika. in its absolute discretion reserves the right to substitute the said prize(s) with any other prize(s).

27. In the event of any winner choosing not to accept a prize(s) or forfeit any and/or all claims qua the prize(s), Rajasthan Patrika. shall have the absolute discretion deal with such prize(s).

28. Winners, if minor, will be disqualified.

29. The Scheme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, differences and, or, any other matters in relation to and arising out of the Scheme and, or, pertaining to the rules and regulations and, or, the Terms and Conditions shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator to be appointed by Rajasthan Patrika. The venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi.

30. All disputes shall be subject exclusively to Jaipur jurisdiction only.

31. All entries will be treated as the property of Rajasthan Patrika.

32. All decisions by Rajasthan Patrika. regarding the selection of the winners shall be final and binding.

33. Rajasthan Patrika. in its absolute discretion may publicize, broadcast or otherwise disclose a contestant's name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of their voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning this contest, or generally. Rajasthan patrika. may promote or advertise the name of  winner who has won the contest.

34. Rajasthan Patrika. having absolute discretions to add, alter,  modify, change or vary all or any of Terms & Conditions of the Jo Khelega Wo Jeetega contest, wholly or in part, without giving any previous notice to the participants. 

35. By participating in the contest the participant agrees to abide with the aforesaid terms and conditions or any such terms and conditions as may be determined by Rajasthan Patrika.
